Modem features
Basic GSM/GPRS functions supported:
Suitable for "Mobile Office" usage through wireless/GPRS Internet access with plug&play support.
Also indicated for sending SMS from web sites, as no dedicated power point is required (electrical power is supplied through USB port).
The modem is provided with an integrated antenna + the following accessories:
A SIM card from a GSM mobile provider (not included) must be placed into the modem.
You can download driver updates for Windows Vista, 7, Server 2008 systems etc. from the following link: www.ftdichip.com (menu Drivers > VCP).
We also recommend to download the installation manual (from menu Support > Documents > Installation Guides) and follow the related instructions carefully.
This product is RoHS compliant.

This modem has recently been discontinued by the manufacturer.
A limited stock quantity is still available.
Awaiting for the release of new USB devices with same reliability, we still recommend this modem for SMS and M2M applications.
Thanks to its Siemens MC35i wireless engine, this modem makes compatibility easy with most applications for remote control, telemetry etc. via GSM/CSD - with the advantage of the USB interface.
